March 2011 nTOTM Contest Entries
So let's start a new contest
Post the pictures in this thread. ENTRY RULES: 1) A nano no larger than 34 gallons. (L x W x H / 231) 2) You may enter up to 3 pictures, one of which must be a FTS. 3) Entries will be accepted until the end of the day on February 22nd. 4) The current nTOTM winner will select 5 tanks out of the ones submitted to be part of the voting stage. 5) On February 23rd, the voting phase will begin. The voting will continue until February 28th. Before March 4, the winning tank must present his or her March nTOTM thread and start the next contest. If you can not meet these timelines please don't enter the contest. Good luck!

29g LED BioCube
This is my 29G BioCube, CPR skimmer, DIY Home Made HOB Refugium, DIY 24 LED kit, one K-1.
Coral- Zoas, LPS (hammer, 2 different Frogspawns, Trumpet, galixia, blas) Couple Acan frags, couple SPS frags. Inverts- Skunk Cleaner, Tiger Pistol shrimp, Cowrie Snail, LongSpine Urchin, couple turbos and hermits. Fish- 2 false percs, and a yellow watchmen goby (paired with the pistol) |

25H Aqueon tank with matching black stand. 150w MH with phoenix 14k bulb, T5 actinics, blue moon lights. CPR bak-pak 2 skimmer. ebo-jager 150w heater, mj1200 for flow. 28lbs fiji live rock. 15 lbs crushed coral substrate. I use reef crystals mixed to 1.025. inhabitants: pair of c-quest ocellaris clownfish, solar wrasse, yellow watchman goby with candy pistol shrimp, Skunk cleaner, 2 peppermint shrimp handful of blueleg hermits, lots of astrea and mini brittle stars. Lots of acans (lords, micros, one echinata.) RBTA, trachyphyllia, lobophyllia, frogspawn, favites, favia, glaxia, pectinia, pavona, acros (blue tenius, tri-color bali, purple stag, oregon tort, green tabling) montis (superman, green cap, purple polyp green skinned setosa) and a few zoas (watermelons, gorilla nipples, fairy dusts, pink eyes.) and lastly a 3.5" maxima clam.

Lotekfish- There is so much to love about your tank. Truly great aquascaping and superb coral placement. I love that it doesn't look like a ton of frags dumped into the tank but instead that every piece was selected for that spot. My only critique is the feather duster placement.

Thank you everyone for the compliments. This is turning out to be an interesting contest, we'll see how the voting goes. Manochio does have a beautiful tank also and is obviously very skilled in keeping SPS.
