Imagine a Fiji Purple. There you go!

The Purple Plus is a tad less pink and I mean a TAD less pink then the Fiji.

When Grim tested them out, the Purple Plus had a little better PAR but the spectrum was the exact same for him. The Fiji bulb was a little older so it may have shifted spectrum ever so slightly.

In my opinion, having used the Fiji Purple before, I like the Purple Plus a lot better, it's not a deep of a purple as the Fiji and blends very well with my 3 Blue Plus and 1 G Midday

Thanks for the pic! Looks very nice. I have used the figi purple also and like the look it adds to the tank...just don't like it's PRICE! I will be purchasing the Purple Plus now.

I agree, the Fiji wasn't that much of a difference to my eyes and looking back on the pictures I took prior to making the switch with the same corals, so I opted to save $10 and get the ATI. Now next time I switch bulbs I think that I will do 4 Blue+ and 1 Purple+ and leave the Midday out altogether. It may not be as bright, but it will give me the 20k look I'm looking for overall I hope.

Anyone else with experience and pics using Purple+ bulbs?
