Help plant over taken tank
please help some plant has taken over my tank. I have a 4o gal system two 20's stacked on top of another. No skimmer and my ballast reciently died. I have one of thoese aqua trader fixtures 24'' and 360w total I think. The halide is 250W, I need a balast and a skimmer for sure but not sure what kinds. Please help my friend how took care of my tank moved away but I still want to remain in the hobby

Can you get a picture up of what it is? Do you have any test kits to test the water for things such as PH, Amonia, Nitirite, Nitrate, phosphate, Salinity/Specific Gravity?
