Lighting for a 30" wide tank

I'm planning to buy a 48" fixture for a 48"x30"x22" tank pretty soon and I've been looking at the Geisemann infinity, but not sure if it will cover the width.

I've already decided that I'm going the metal halide / t-5 route so please don't steer me towards led's. The tank will be rimless so the fixture will need to be hung from a lighting mount. Any tips or suggestions is appreciated.

I have a 30" wide tank to. Man what a pain it was finding a good reflector that looks good over a rimless tank. I finally settled on the Sfiligoi XR6. The XR6 will cover 30" wide no problem! check out Aquatics Elite in the sponsor forum.

I've decided to go with either the Geisemann Infinity (2x250 + 4x54) or the Sfiligoi Stealth (2x250 + 8x54).

Anybody have experience with either fixture?

I am lighting my 47x31.5x20 tank with a geisemann infinity that has 2-150w. It covers the tank fine.

Are you able to keep SPS near the bottom or edges of the tank?
