Ferocious Snail

Today, i was looking at my snails and i noticed that it was eating 1 of my 3 pepperment shrimp. My snails have have already ate 2 of my 3 pepperment shrimp so now i only have one left. My shrimp were pretty small about 3/4 0f an inch

If i add a pistol shrimp with my yellow watchman will my snails gain up and eat it even if it is normal size?

I don't think that your snails are outright attacking your shrimps. I could be wrong since I'm newb to saltwater, but I think your shrimp should be fast enough to get away assuming they are healthy. Usually if something is just caught snacking on a body we automatically think they are the murderer. But really your shrimp may have died of something else, and the snails were just doing their job.
Hopefully you find the real culprit soon and I think that your pistol should be fine from any snail assassinations.

Just because they looked healthy doesn't mean they were. They were probably already on their way out and your snails decide to do you a favor. A shrimp can high tail it out of there if it's healthy.
