Leon5962, is your unit the two or three chamber model? I've got a RO HOB skimmer and it did put bubbles into my tank, but nothing major. Mine came with a hideous blue sponge that was designed to fit over the output and help stop the bubbles--worthless. I just turned my return so that it faced the back glass. The bubbles generally burst along the back and weren't really seen. Those that escaped really didn't bother me any. Are you using the coarse black sponge in the one chamber? It is a bubble trap as well. I found that the bubbles I did have came not from the reaction, but from where the water left the unit--the water level in my last chamber doesn't fill the discharge pipe completely and therefore sucks air down with it. Once it tumbled into the 90 it made the bubbles (man I hope that makes sense).
