Sea Veggies Magnetic Clip

My two little fishes magnetic sea veggies clip has fallen apart, such that the part inside the DT has come unglued (the clip has seperated from the foam + magnet).

Is this common for this product ?

I have had no luck with commercial nori/veggie clips. I make my own now.

no I have not contacted them as I have used the product in my display tank for maybe 4 months now, and it always seems like the adhesive between the clip itself and the foam (or the magnet and the foam) will fall apart.

This time it actually did on me, so I'm basically researching whether its worth investing in another (i got a lemon) or this product is a dud.

Mine did the same...I had to super glue the magnet/foam back together and I switched out the the original clip with a clear ocean nutrition clip instead.

Was just going to buy this so glad I found this discussion.

The suction cup clips always fail eventually so I thought the magnet is the way to go.

Ironwill- was it the knob part that holds the clip that you had to glue back on? Is it still holding good and for how long? I dont mind glueing it as long as I have the magnet.

I do prefer the 2 little fishes clip over the oceean nutrition one because it is has deeper ridges so I do not have to put as much nori in the clip for it to hold. The 2 LF clip does break a lot easier though.

that's exactly the part that came un-glued for me. So I guess you guys just recommend super glue eh ?

Both sides of the foam magnet (in tank/outside the tank) were pulling apart from the start. I just used some superglue gel to put them back together and haven't had any problems since. Seems like they don't use the right glue or maybe just not enough. I don't like the look of the big white TLF clip so I went with the clear Ocean Nutrition one instead. Just took off the suction cup and the hole of the Ocean Nutrition clip fits perfectly on the knob part of the TLF magnet.
