I use a mix of rapid led and boost led. The rapids are better for larger applications IMO/IME.

I replaced the boost leds in the center with the new rapid leds. The growth under these bulbs has been excellent. I have burned some corals though. Be very careful they are powerful.

What kind of sq. ft coverage are you getting with each of the Rapid LED's?
What optics do you have?

I am using 7 LED 60* optics and they are mounted 5" above the waterline.

Here it is with 5 rapids and 4 boosts:

The spotlighting is more dramatic in the photos.

I do plan on replacing the Boosts nearest the center on the outer sections. 7 rapids and 2 boosts.

As you can see the growth has been great. The monti caps are the most noticeable.

There is a guy named David that is trying to get a group order going under Rapid LED sponsor link.
I put my name down and maybe you should too - if we get enough members then maybe when can get a really good discount?

Cannot right now. I am in the process of selling some boost leds then I will have the money for the rapids.

Anemonebuff,

What are you using to hang the Par 38's. I really like it on your tank.
