Oops! I just crushed my frogspawn skeleton. Did I kill it?
I was trying to lodge a small head frag into a lace rock hole when suddenly the side of it gave way and now it's no longer firm. Doesn't look like too much damage, but the overall structure is a bit flimsy now. I thought I might have even seen a string of mucous or webbing rise from the damaged spot.

If its well away from the polyp- likely no problem. When you frag them you generally cut the skel where it narrows away from the polyp- and it often shatters or crushes a bit.

The stalk was about 2 inches. I basically put a finger print indent into one of it's sides, but nothing exactly shattered, just crushed a bit and made the entire skeleton feel flimsy. The dented side is all the way up the polyp, but the rim around the top is still intact.
I really hope it's ok |

It happened to me once, and it turned out to be okay.
