Light acclimate or no?

So as of yesterday I upgraded my lighting from a modified Odyssea fixture that was running 2-250W DE Phoenix bulbs powered by Lumatek ballasts to 2-250W SE Radium bulbs in Lumen Max Elite pendants powered by the same ballasts. Right now I do have a layer of window screen between the lights and the top of the tank but is it necessary? It is brighter than it used to be with the old fixture but is there that much of a difference? In the tank is mostly SPS with a few LPS and a large Haddoni Carpet Anemone.

I would (( might even go with 2 layers )); very little (( if any )) harm can come from acclimating them. However, bleaching can occur and/or your S. haddoni could start to move from not acclimating.

Thanks thats kind of what I thought just figured I would double check. I also added a second layer of screen and now it is about as bright as it was with the Phoenix bulbs. What do you think the normal 5-7 days before removing a layer?

Yeah, though I would remove one layer on the 5th day, and just see how they react.
