Venturi – Silent, fully adjustable aeration.
Rotational Output – Directs water flow to needed areas of the tank.
Impeller – Maximizes water flow.
Adaptable Intake – Allows the power head to be used with undergravel filters.
Omni-Directional Mount – Adjusts the pump to fit the proper current needs inside the tank.
Propeller –Maximizes the water flow.
Propeller Cage – Protects the propeller and tank inhabitants while minimizing flow restriction.
Dimensions:
14.625" x 9.25" x 14.375"

So those aren't the dimensions...?
I need another PH, but this one seems even uglier than the Koralias I currently have.

Would it have killed them to throw in a mag mount. They should call it the semi-pro.

Marine Solutions got some of them in today. They look a little more compact than a modded maxijet, and not as much flow (1300 vs. 1600/2000 gph). But you could almost buy two of these for what a 1200/sure flow mod would cost.
The impeller assembly looks pretty much like the sure flow, but has three blades instead of two. If they can in fact be run on a wavemaker, I wonder if it's because of the third blade. I emailed Marineland to find out if they can be used on a wavemaker. Haven't heard back yet.

I asked them if the powerheads could be used with a Red Sea wavemaker, the response I got from Marineland:

"Hello,

We have not tested it in this application as that is not our product so we couldn't say for sure.

Regards,
Marineland"
