Mistakes and mis-steps

Kinda new to Reef Central and just recently introduced myself in the newbie section. As I stated there, I have been educating myself by reading all the threads and advice from all you veterans. I have not however seen a thread dedicated to a discussion on Reefers mistakes that they made when they were rookies to the hobby and what they did to rectify those mistakes. Going on the premise that most of us throughout life look back on our mistakes and can now laugh at them, I was wondering if any of you would share any stories. Kinda like incompatible fish, incomaptible equipment, things you would have done differently such as setup issues, build isses, not allowing for proper support of your tank, things you would have done differently etc etc, and more importantly how you fixed your issue. Just throwing that thought out there. Thanks, California Keith
PS, if I missed a thread that is already dedicated to this, please disregard and point me there, Thanks
