I got a new tank after breaking the other one while cleaning it. Chad hooked me up with a rr 65 gallon, reef octopus skimmer, art acyrlic sump , aqualife t5 fixture and all necessary equipment just got done aquascaping. Not sure if i can add pics from my phone. But i have some if someone can tell me how to do it. Lookong forward to getting some livestock.

Nice Clowns, That is a lot of Rock. What are you going to keep? Remember you need room for things to grow...

Woke up this mornimg and fish and shrimp and crab all doing well. Still teying to get the skimmer dialed in properly. It seems like just a small turn on the gatevalve makes a huge difference.

Maybe i will just drain the salt water and fill it with tigers blood. The fish will love it. It will melt their faces.

Is that the full size of the sump in the pic? If you dont have another chamber you can't add a fuge. The only other idea would be to get a 10 gal and plumb it into your system.

Yeah that is the full size of the sump and dont have any more room under the stand. I did get some ideas in the main forum. But would require additional plumbing and a top off system. I was just wanting a fuge to keep phospates in check and maybe copepods etc. I am now thinking about getting Phosban reactor and are not very expensive and seems easy to install and is flexible as far as different media to put inside.

Just checkex out bulkreefsupply would you do the dual reactor or just a single. I guess the dual would be best as one pump would get the job done. Is there a bettet pump recomandation as the maxi 1200 did not get good reviews.

You'll probably get a variety of opinions. But I run the dual and run carbon and GFO. I love it. I used to run a MJ had no problems with it. But now it runs off my return. Get yourself in a group buy in the bulkreef section on here and get the lowest price.
