Dosing pump/calcium
So im tired of dosing calcium manually and im looking into a dosing pump to take over the job. Looking for something relatively inexpensive or cheap to make.
Who has experience with a good dosing pump, what type of pump is it, what and how do you dose and how often? Any DIY dosers? thnx |

These are rather inexpensive and work very well. http://cgi.ebay.com/Aquarium-Perista...ht_1080wt_1141

I use 2 of the pumps from apt instruments. Cheap box with a couple holes and you have a dual doser.

I'm using these: http://www.aptinstruments.com/Mercha...ory_Code=SP100
They are $65 a piece. I have 2 of them mounted in a radio shack project box. All you need is a pump, power cord, digital timer, and a box. |

I c, they have cheap Chinese pumps like these on eBay but I am not sure I understand how to hook them up, basically just a power supply and timer then intake tubing and output tubing? What kind of power supply did u use? Just a power cord or 12v dc?
If u could show me a picture I would b super greatful! |
