BM NAC6 without Bubble plate? Surprise!
Decided to clean up my old shelved NAC6A to sell and decided to run it for a bit to make sure the pump was still in good working condition.
Without cleaning yet, I re-assembled the unit without the bubble plate (box) just for a run through and noticed almost instant, creamy froth running in my garage tote. Hmm? I let it run overnight and it's skimming way better than it ever did with the BB on it. Decided not to sell it and will put it on the main tank to see what it will do. It has more turbulence but seems to mix much better. BTW it's doing this at only 7 inches. I used to have to run it at 10 to get decent skimmate before. Any one else try this? Tivo
