Bulkhead and Locline adapter help

I just want to be sure i've got this right, its my first drilled return. So I have a thread to thread bulkhead in the glass, and I'm putting the threaded MPT locline ball socket adapter in that (inside the tank) Then I attach the nozzle to the ball socket?

One thing I should add is you won't get much movement with basically only 1 ball to swivel on. You may want to purchase a small length of balls and use 2 or 3 per side in addition to what you already mentioned. Not required but will definitely allow you more flexibility of the nozzle.

I've got 2 returns and a 36 gallon tank, and I'll be adding a vortech, so I'm thinking that direction of flow wont be a huge issue...

To be clear, install the nozzle on the adapter PRIOR to installing onto the bulkhead and into the glass. It can take a bit of force to get those locline pieces together and you don't want to be putting pressure on the glass.
