Water Blaster 7000? - Issue with hooking up

I got Water Blaster 7000 and am having some issues hooking it up. I want to run it externally but I can't get plumbing that fits. I found a coupler that slides into the outlet but I haven't used PVC cement yet to glue it in.

My bigger issue is finding a couple that fits into the inlet part. The one that should fit is just a hair loose. So I'm worried that even if I slop a lot of PVC cement in there that it will leak (I want to run externally). And as I said the outlet is a hair tight so I'm not even sure how well it will fit in once I add glue.

Additionally I was looking to grab a spare sleeve (the part that screws onto the inlets and outs, not sure the correct name). Nothing in the store fits, either too big or too small by a hair. Its almost as if its metric.

Anyone else have an issue?

sure seems like metric

I contacted the seller (Aquacave ) and they advised me to contact Coralvue directly
So I'm waiting. And hoping someone may post who is using one externally
