Why would you want to get rid of them? They are a good thing in the tank just don't touch them.

I thought that they eat corals and attach smaller fish?

They clean up inside the rocks which is the man reason I wanted them in my tank. I have a 180 gallon tank full of corals and never had a bristle worm eat a single coral. I have never seen a worm go after a fish either. Do a few searches here for bristle worms some want them some don't.

thanks, it is confusing, as you said some are for them and some against. There are so many kinds, it is confusing. I don't mind them if they do no harm, I already learned a hard lesson from a green carpet anemone that eat 3 of my fish, the salesman forgot to mention that fact. anyways, I am trying to be extra careful.

Thanks again

I used to think they were bad until I read Sk8r's posts a while back. Definitely leave it in as part of the CUC/detritus crew.
