Ozone And Mrc-2

Just wondering who's running ozone with a beckett skimmer? i am thinking i can just put a T in the air intake and add the ozone from there....

Also i have the stink air from the skimmer venting outside (This was origonally to keep humidity down and stink) but that should be adequet to exaust any unused 03, I Think?????

Last question, How the heck am i supposta run all the water coming from the skimmer throu G.A.C. ??? Anyone actually do this????

Ps:> I Love Pics!

I don't run ozone, but when I built my new stand I set it up in case I did. My MR2 is external and I used 2 sided threaded bulk head. I was planning on using a threaded adapter and attaching it to a piece of PVC and getting some screen and placing that inside the PVC to keep the carbon in place. I was also planning on using a end cap to hold the screen.

What about causing back pressure on the skimmer???
I can't get away with just running a flid media reactor and fill er full of carbon?? and feed it with a pump?

Using ozone in a skimmer was just the cheap way of killing two birds with one stone. But... you only half kill the second bird so it lays there suffering.

Use an Ozone reactor. They work better and you can filter out the water properly.
