how should i program my aquarium light are moon light necessary at night?

I run mine 12 hrs per day 12 hrs vho and 10 hrs mh. >are moon light necessary at night? no, but i leave a night light on near my tank so the fish can at least see when all the lights are out.

10-12 hours, you don't need moon lights.

Yep, moonlights aren't necessary. I run my halide for about 8-10 hours/day.
