Recommend epoxy/adhesive to piece live rock

Any recommendations on piecing together live rock? Which epoxy or adhesive? I'm trying to stay away from using acrylic rods and sheets or pvc.

I used a mortar from Marcorocks called E-marco 400 to join rocks together. It works great... you cannot pull the rocks apart 30 min after using it.

It may take a lot of epoxy to do it that way. using mortar will be cheaper and a lot more solid once cured. You have to be careful with what mortar you use, due to minerals that you wouldn't want in your tank. There's also a concern with pH as well.

I see, thanks! I will look into it. Any suggestions of where to purchase super glue gel?

Super glue? Why you asking about super glue? But to answer your question you can get it at hobby store. Just make sure it's gel.

AquaStik epoxy is a waste of money, I will tell you that. I just free stack everything, and for affixing corals I would use superglue gel.

Sorry, I meant the gel. So it can be any super glue gel? Does it have to have that ingredient that starts with a "c" and ends in "acrylate?"

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! Now will I be able to use the super glue gel once i get it and use it on my liverock that is currently cycling in my tank? Can I apply it in the wet liverock and piece them together? If so, how long will I have to leave the wet liverock out of the water to wait for the glue to cure before I can place it back in my cycling tank?
I'm using my iPhone and browsing the web for answers takes too long. I think Reef Central should have an app for our phones haha!

i have successfully foamed all my tank setups with GREAT STUFF cans bought at any lowes or homedepot. its never caused any problem for me over 7 yrs now. only advice i have is foam outside the tank and let it cure for some time to become solid. then move them back in the tank.

No. You don't want to use superglue to adhere the rock. That will take a lot of glue and make a big mess.

No, do not use superglue to stick liverock together, it will not work. I have given up on adhering rock, just free stack it unless you want to do some crazy overhang or something, then you would use fiberglass rods. I have aquastik epoxy putty, but it is very hard to get it to hold at extreme angles, it is good to stick gorgonians in however.
