How to clean Soy Sauce?

Im wanting to use 55g plastic barrels for my fresh SW and rodi water.

I found some barrels but they use to full of Soy Sauce and I wondering if I could clean them with alot of bleach or if I should just pass on them.

If you put a bunch of rice in there it should soak it up

I was going to say soak it in a vinegar bath with a powerhead in the container. Then someone mentioned fried rice and now I am thinking soy sauce plus vinegar makes adobo.

rinse it well. Soy sauce is pretty much salt and water anyway. My barrel contained photographic fixer or developer - I rinsed it well, put some baking soda in to neutralize whatever might be left, rinsed well again and put it to use.

That what I was thanking. Lots of vinegar, bleach and power head and rinse it really really good and should maybe be gtg. At the same time I didn't want to take a stupid chance on it and destroy my tank to save $40. Know what I mean.

55g drums of soy sauce? wow. I would probably pass them up for 55g drums that were used to store water.
