Question Baby great white shark

Hi everyone, I lucked out at a LFS today and brought home a baby great white shark for my 90 gallon. So far it seems to be doing good. Has anyone else had one of these? I know they eat fish but other than that, are they reef safe? I don't want it eating my inverts.

Thanks in advance.

mine is good on the inverts. I am spending a fortune on baby seals to keep it fed.

No problem_ get them all the time- and when they outgrow the 38 gallon I keep them in- I put them on the livingroom floor to dry and make jerky for my owl.

Just let it go in a pond. It will be alright.

Actually, we could use one in Lake Michigan. Can you ship? I'll pay for shipping.

i hear the chinese like to harvest the fin from sharks...i suppose once it gets too big for the 90 you could sell it to a chinese restaurant for a premium price!

(a tad morbid i know )

When I added my baby great white to my 70g cube last week he was doing fine! All the other fish didn't seem to like him, though.

I've also seem to have misplaced two sohal tangs, wonder where they went...

I had to move all liverock to the sump to give my Great White more swimming room in my 150 cube. Since he's the only fish in the tank he should be fine into young adulthood when I'll move him to my large 200 gallon. I don't know why this tank was never able to keep fish alive so I figured I'd give a robust creature like a shark a try. The only other tank mate for the baby Great White is my Blue Ring Octopus that has been with me for 2 years. He's outlived every fish that's been in that tank so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the shark is just as hardy. Maybe the shark won't mysteriously disappear like the other fish.
