sump question

I am almost finished with my sump and the last thing to do is size up my supply line going to my sump and thats where my question is. How deep should I have my pipe go into my sump, all the way down or half way down or at the top?

Have it go almost all the way to the bottom, but not quite. Like 3 inches from the bottom. You definitely want your drain pipe/hose below the water level of your drain compartment for noise suppression. Also, I like to cut a 45 degree angle at the bottom of the pipe, It looks more manufactured. Hope this helps!

I respectfully disagree IMO, it should only be an inch or two under the surface.

The way my chamber is set up i should have 6in of water in the chamber and the drain pipe would be about 4in from the bottom.

I dont mean to butt into your question but made me think is all. My supply line goes almost all the way to the bottom of the sump tank. I have a problem with micro bubbles and was wandering if maybe that was why you guys said it should be up farther.
