Surface Skimmer????

I have a 34G Solana and I have what appears to be organic matter floating on the top of the water. Do I need a Surface Skimmer and if so what one?

It appears that the Solana has a surface skimmer. It doesnt seem to be doing the job. Is there anything I can do to help it skim better.

You could get a powerhead and tilt it toward the surface.

I have one of the nozzles from the return pump facing the top. It does seem like I have good circulation on the top.
