How much sand in Fuge
How much sand is good for a fuge that is 37" L and 7" W? I have about a 1" and a 1/2 in there now would that be sufficient?

I use about 3/8" of aragonite... I prefer a very shallow sandbed as I don't want it harboring any excess nutrients, jus some beneficial bacteria, as my display is high flow barebottom... but that's jus me now... i have used a 6" deep sandbed in my fuge on a past setup, and it was an incredible nitrate reducer... I recommend very little, or more than 5" if u are gonna use any at all... but again, jmo...
