Skimmer pump cord short
Ok so the pump for my skimmer has a short in the cord, needles to say I went to clean the glass and got a big surprise! The problem I'm having is that I can find the replacement but its $75.00, I just ordered a new impeller volute and seals about 2 months ago. I have found this but it says its not for a skimmer, so my question is can I swap parts to make it work. I don't see why I couldn't. Any ideas? http://www.fishsupply.com/spksp-a2500.html

If the pump you have is the same as that but with a needle wheel you should be good to go.
