Questions about my t5 fuxture
First question I have is how high do you all with the ati sunpower put your fixtures above water. Right now mine is about 7 inches above the surface, but I still don't know if tis is too high or too low. Do any of you get better growth with the lights higher or lower. Secondly my current bulb combo is front to back as follows:
blue plus Blueplus Aquablue Kz purple Blue plus Blue plus Now when my day lights go out there are only 2 blue plus bulbs on. I was thinking of switching the bulbs around so that there would be 4 blue plus bulbs on for evening and give more blue light for lps corals since I'm considering a new light scheme. Would this be too much blue light or beneficial to corals. Also this is a 6 bulb fixture not a 4 bulb. Thinking of a 4 to 6hr dalight with the evening bulbs of 4 blues. Any help or input appreciated. |

As far as the height i would lower it some more as the corals get acclimated. You will get better par the closer the fixture is which will give better growth.
