DB Solar Extreme 436, Anyone have problems with the lunar LED's going out.

I bought a DB Solar Extreme 436. I had been having issues with the LED's turning off but would come back on after turning off and back on. They went out last night and won't come back on. Has anyone had similar isses or is this one of those cases that you get what you pay for.

Yup bought it yesterday and the LEDs went out last night. I'm going to try and bring it back. What did you end up doing?

I haven't had this problem and I have had this fixture for almost a year now. I have actually thought of taking the LEDs put and replacing them and the opaque lenses with Cree 3W LEDs.. Any thoughts?

Yup my LEDs went out i exchanged that one then 4 months later on the 2nd one, one of the ballasts went. I called customer service and they said to bring it back to the lfs for an exchange. I exchanged that one and now the timer on the new one (3rd) is broken and will randomly turn the lights on. I went on vacation and my lights were on for I assume 4 days. I came back to an algae filled tank. Don't buy these lights!
