how to external overflow?
ok, searched a bit and couldn't find any build threads etc for my question. (I know there are some and can't locate atm). maybe I can get some help here.
I have a spare 40g breeder tank that I want to setup. was thinking of doing a rear external overflow + herbie. I want to cut the rear glass down to make the rear overflow. but I need some guidance on removing the rim and cutting down the glass. any thoughts? know any specific build threads that did this? thanks for your help! |

About 6 months ago there was a great build thread... I think it was a 200+ gallon tank where the member removed the trim and then added an external overflow... There was also this one where the member removed internal overflows and drilled the back. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...rnal+overflows
