New Pair of B&W Clowns Wont Eat

I just acclimated a pair of Black & White Oscellaris Clowns last night and they seem to be doing fine this morning.

However, they showed little interest in the mysis shrimp I offered before I left the house. I assume this is due to the new surroundings and normal for juvenile clowns.

Tank is 5 months old:

Amm - 0
Nitrites - 0
Nitrates - 2
PH - 8.2
Temp 77F

Tank already has peppermint shrimp, fire shrimp and various inverts for CU crew.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the replies.

I have tried frozen brine and frozen mysis, but they don't seem too interested. I also offered N.O. Formula Two pellets last night, but got little response if any.

They seem to be swimming in the water column at the same points I continue to offer food selections like they are showing some interest in eating. However, I have yet to get them to consume much of anything.

Today marks 4 days in the tank. I tested parameters again last night:

Ammonia - 0
Nitiries - Trace if any
Nitrates - 2.0
pH - 8.2
Temp - 78

I would hate to lose these fish. Should I continue to be patient or does anyone have any new suggestions?

You're trying some good foods; now try the toughest thing to get in this hobby---patience. Its only been two days, right?

they are still new in your tank so I wouldn't worry. my juvi clowns took around 3-4 days before they started eating with vigor. Also if they are small, they won't eat mysis. Mine were really small when I got them and it seemed they were afraid of the shrimp because they were too big for them to eat. They took NLS pellets (the smallest ones)though and at first I had to put them in tank water and let them sink. Now I can just throw them in the tank and they'll eat from the top.

Lol - that's right - they may just not want to give you the satisfaction.

Some fish do better initially if you step way back across the room from the tank and sit down or leave the room right after you put the food in. Of course you need to know if they eat, so just peak in where they don't notice you. Another thought is to pick up something irresistible on the way home like Reef Caviar.

You can also try getting some garlic from the store and mash up a little in some water and soak there food in it for a while then try feeding, fish seem to like garlic.
