Im looking to replace my stealth heater that just burnt out unexpectedly (getting refund). My local reef store sells only the hydor heaters i was wondering if they are any good?

I have a 100watt Hydor heater. I haven't had any problems, and is pretty accurate.

I use EJ's, but have seen several people in the stealth (complaint) thread seem to have no problems with the hydors. Just use a controller regardless of what brand if you want to be safe(r).

I've used Hydor Theo heaters. They seem fine.

very mixed reviews on them. get an Eheim Ebo-Jager imo. Universally excellent reviews.

I have been using the hydor theo's forever. Great heaters and pretty darn accurate too. Never heard of any issues with them. Plus, hydor has great customer service as well.
