This needs to be said periodically so everyone knows---about the red-rimmed white triangle under the avatar. If you are in a forum and people are using abusive language, or behaving badly, if someone has made an inappropriate post, or if you just think the post doesn't belong where it is re subject matter, poke that red rimmed triangle, and a blank will appear: fill out your complaint or observation. It will automatically quote the post you're talking about, and shoot that post and your message straight to the mods, who will handle it. We know the name of the complainant, but it will never be revealed to the other side.

Do not fight in the forums. Let a mod handle the matter. Also recall the family friendly rule: keep the language something you'd feel okay with a kid reading...because we do have some very young people here.

When in doubt, use the triangle.

Thank you sk8r. I have never thought myself to do so. I have often times "come to the rescue" of someone being bashed and of course it never helped anything. I think if more people would keep in mind that this is a family friendly site and if people would just let "the authorities" handle it we would all be much better off.
