Losing my dogface puffer :(

Recently bought a dogface puffer from a fellow local member. She spent a few days in a 55g and then when I bought her I put her into a healthy but empty 90g. First day she showed signs of ich. Moved her to a 47g and slowly reduced salinity for hypo-salinity treatment. Over a few days she made huge bounds in progress and hand healed up pretty well and was swimming happily.

But I'm not sure what happened today. I walked in the room, heard sucking, and found her floating up top and quickly inflating with air.

Grabbed the closest (large) net, and submerged her to prevent further air inhalation. But she had already gotten a lot. I then put on a pair of latex gloves and begin the gentle burping process. She released a few minor bubbles of air but not anywhere near enough to prevent her from floating. A few minutes in her eyes went lifeless and she stopped beaking.

My question is, will she deflate when she is dead or stay inflated? I can't completely tell if she's gone or not, but I don't want to keep pressing on her poor little body if she is.

Me and my wife LOVED this fish and it's so sad that not even 2 months into owning her did she go this way. But it was the ich she got from all the moving stress. Since the tank was bare before her I know it had already been present on her.
