Some people have tried them. We haven't gotten many reviews yet, since the tests are new.

i have them, nitrate readings seem to be accurate and the kit reads down to 0.25ppm.phosphate shows not to drop lower than 0.08 but other kits show less than 0.02 so i guess its a testing error of the red sea kit.colors are very easy to read for both of the tests.at least for nitrate i think is an excellent kit

i tried the potassium, iodine, iron kit. not cheap.

some people tell me its useless to test for this stuff, others tell me i should.

i figured why not. the quality of the kit itself is nice. glass vials. the reagent containers are nice too. the drip tips work very well, better than my salifert kits. the potassium test is 14 or more steps and takes about 20 minutes or so, 17 minutes of waiting for stuff to mix etc. they were easy to read and the directions are very clear.

the iron test was the only one that was a little vague but i think the general consensus on RC is that iron is difficult to test for accurately, please correct me if i am wrong.

i used the tests to make sure i wasn't having any issues with my parameters.

I should add they seemed accurate. my iodine and Potassium levels were right where they should be, my iron was low but i'm going to keep testing and see if i get consistent results, i've only used it once so far...

My Red Sea Pro Mag test gave me indication that my mag level was 1080. My Salifart Mag test showed 1380. Given what i've read about my salt and the amount of Kent M I dosed, i'd say that the true level was somewhere in between the the results from Red Sea and Salifart, but much much closer to the Salifart test.

I wouldn't buy another Red Sea test kit, I don't like the layout, packaging, results list, ect... I didn't like much if anything about it.

I have used many and find the new Red Sea kits to be easy to use and very accurate with ALK. I like the one hand vial holder and think I will be usinng these exclusively from now on. I do think the Nitrate kit is a bit on the extra low range side, but I think Red Sea is stepping up in the hobby. The CA, Alk, Mag kit is by far the easiest kit I have used to date.
