Green Chromis

Well I just took pictures of the chromis thats left and it looks to have some damage on its left side by the rear fin. Looks like the scales are disolving or something picked at it or maybe it's a disease? Hell I don't know...ugh

Yeah dude, can't see much, maybe a little pink back left. Do you have other fish/what? How many chromis have bit the sand? What do you reckon the culprit is?

Your rocks look really clean, was this tank properly cycled? How many did you start with and what else is in the tank?

no other fish anymore. 2 chromis have died and 2 firefish (add separately). Yes it was cycled for over a month and two of the fish that died i took out and the other two i left in and I have no ammonia and no nitrites and nitrates are barely detectable if any depending on before or after I changed my water last time.

Only other thing that's in the tank is snails and hemit crabs which one of those have died. Everything else seems to be doing ok...

and with the dead fish in there wouldn't I see an ammonia spike if it wasn't cycled?
