Feather Duster Retracted

I have a 5 or so month old tank--29 gallon DT and 29 gallon refugium. The tank and fuge have a lot of LR and cheato in fuge. I have 2 firefish, 1 pajama cardinal, recently added 2 small TR clowns, and a yellow watchman goby. I got a green bta (I know tank not mature enough, but someone had a bta that split a lot so i thought i'd give it a try). Parameters 1.025, nitrates 5-10 range, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, Ca 400 78 degrees,

I have had a feather duster worm for 2 months or so. It has always looked good. It occasionally retracts when the cleaner shrimp mess with it (especially when they are hungry) or if i reach into tank. Other than that, it's usually out. Never before retracted for more than a half hour. However, 5 days ago I woke up, it wasn't out and hasn't come out since. I can look down into tube and see it there. It just doesn't seem to want to come out. It has not shed its crown or anything like that, it just won't come out.

Any thoughts ? Does this indicate it is not happy with something ? What could have caused this ?

Mine retracted yesterday and hasn't come out all day. I don't see anything in the tube. Anything I should do?

Occassionally a feather duster will pop off its crown to grow a new/fresh one, not sure why they do this but when they do they'll hide for 7-14 days while a new crown grows. Both of mine have done it, the first time I assumed it was dead for about a week untill a small crown began popping out of its tube about a week or so later
