Help with ID of a growth on my snail's shell

There are these tentacle looking things growing on my turbo snail's shell. There are probably about 50 of them. They look like they are attached to the shell. I've never seen one move. They are also segmented.

Pics were hard to get, unfortunately, because the snail was moving about.

Anyone know what these are?

Hard to tell from those pics, but it might be some kind of worm.

You might want to QT the snail to prevent it from spreading until you can ID it. Some worms (like vermetid) can be a big nuisance once they spread.

Try this link - see if anything looks similar:

I had something similar in empty hermit shells which my hermits are now wearing. They just seem to pick up stuff from the bottom with their arms. I never considered spionid worms, but it could very well be.
