UV LED in supps, danger?
I'm planning to mod my hood with LED strips from the site below (going to splice the strips into the 12V wiring of the PC fan mod I did). I was thinking of adding both blue strips (470nm) and UV (405nm). Two questions:
1. Will I see the same nice coral fluorescence with 470nm blue vs the traditional ~450nm? I've looked for DIY LED strips at ~453 like ecoxotic but haven't had any luck. 2. Isn't there danger in beaming UV into my DT? The ecoxotic site sells UV stunner strips for softie fluorescence, which I would like, but I don't want to cook my corals.
