skimmer overflowing suddenly

All of a sudden for the past few days my skimmer has been overflowing. thankfully it's an in sump design, but it is still putting all those organics back into the tank The model is a Eshopps PSK-200. I can't figure out why it is doing this, it has been working beautifully the past 3 months! I have been feeding nothing but NLS pellets for a week. What could be causing this?

I'd check your impeller and make sure nothing go caught in the needles.

anything going on around the house? Chemicals in the air can cause this type of activity, I had a big issue when I painted a few rooms.

Checked this the other day, just some algae that I cleaned out.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Just weekly vacuuming that's it. Unless some of the grass fertilizer got into the air somehow... They fertilized like 4 days ago.

Whenever I'm gluing frags mine will do it too.

One thing I can recommend, keep a reef journal. Write down when you do stuff and when you observe changes. You may just find a correllation and get your answer (plus its a good practice).

Something in your water chemistry has changed. Missing any fish? What about shrimp? Did you dial back the skimmer?

just about anything can throw them off..at least my ASM...my US Aquarium is pretty stable...but with my ASM just about any change in the tank will cause it to go hay wire for hours.

What about water level in the skimmer chamber? In sump skimmers are very sensitive to changes in water height

Nope, nope, nope and nope. I don't dose anything either.

Level is the same on that side all the time. Must have been something in the air then. Very odd. I did have the windows open for 2 days instead of running the air as it was nice out. My best guess would be the lawn fertilizer guy. I could smell that stuff, so it's possible it made it's way to the tank.

Everything in tank looks fine though: corals, fish and invertebrates.
