340 gallon cube build

Hello everyone, I've recently came across a 340 gallon acrylic cube. Dimensions are 48x48x35. Since I already have a multiple tanks set up, I am wanting to do a nice slow build and do everything right the first time. I am shooting for fowlr for now since I have two reefs already, then eventually combining the two into one. Unless I can get the fowlr to look good enough without corals. So I'm looking for any ideas, equipment list, stock list, pros and cons to everything, past experiences, do's and dont's. Basically any help I can get. I recently purchased a new house with unfinished basement so I will be finishing the basement and taking my time with the tank and fish room because money and time are slim right now. But I appreciate any feedback and hope to here some helpful advice.

Great, sounds like an awesome tank! Will it be viewable from all 4 sides with the overflow in the center, or peninsula style?

It will be in wall peninsula, viewable from 3 sides. It will be finished with Sheetrock to give it the in wall look and feel.

I think you're request is a little too open ended to get a lot of concrete advice. I'd suggest you look at other builds in this forum that are similar to what you're planning (there are tons of in-basement builds to consider), as well as narrow your questions to specific requests. A lot of what you're asking depends on your preferences (such as stock list), so give us some more insight into what you're end goals are and hopefully we can get you some good answers.

It's been a while, been busy remodeling. But anyways I have a few things added equipment wise. I have a 400w metal halide. And a msx 250 skimmer. As for a sump. I have a 125g I could turn into a sump or maybe get a 150g rubbermaid. As for stocking I wanna go fish only. I have no clue on fish still. I like tangs, so what would be suitable for a tank this size. I also want to do a large group of schooling fish. Any opinions??
