is it just me or....

i just got my very first rimless tank. tank been running for few weeks now. i just released CUC crew in and i noticed my nassarius snails eat my limpets!!! I noticed when my limpets fall off the glass, once it land on the sand the nasarius start rising from the dead under the sand and ran straight to the limpet starting to suck the living life out of it.

how were the limpets acclimated? They could have been dying since my nassarius are the first to know when something dies in my tank. I could be wrong though as I have never owned limpets.

Or, the limpets are dying and the nassarius are doing their cleanup job...

I've seen two types of "limpits" sold, one is a nerite, one is a true limpit. I've never been fond of true limpits, and nerites do have issues living in some people's tanks.

WELCOME TO RC & THE ADDICTION!!

depending on which limpets.. be happy they perished!! I had limpets as hitchhikers.. thought they were so cool.. til I noticed they were eating all the sponges in my tank!
as Lynn & Jeff stated.. nassarius go after death they don't kill

Welcome to the RC Family!!!!!
