Lighting sps by led question. 120g
i have a 4foot x2x2 mostly sps tank. Gonna make the switch to leds and from everything i have read it looks like i need min 200w max 300w. Looking to do dimmable 3w cree's at either 60-90 degree optics.
this tank is mostly sps so i need to know from experience how many watts you guys think and what optics would be best ??? thanks.

looks sweet. very nicely done. one of the best diy ive seen. So does it have optics ? so you dont think 300w is too much ?

They all have 60 degree optics. I used 86 LEDs and it's plenty.
