Time for another round of: NAME. THAT. THING!
What's this stuff above my mushroom? I never thought much of them, but I'm wondering if they're a hydroid or something I need to worry about crowding out my very few corals. |

Those are pallys they do grow fast and can over crowd other corals. I think there a pest and very unappealing but are readily available and sold in the hobby.

I have a cluster of Paly's that are new, these were on my LR in a couple places and I have a small piece of LR rubble that's pretty well covered with "tiny Palys". If I chose to get rid of them, how do I do that? Can I just cut them off the rock or will they grow back if I don't get it all out? |

Guy I bought the LR from says they're nuclear green pally's. Apparently they need more light to really show their 'true colors'.
