Question How to ensure dt is "level"and not pitching?

Hello,
I'm setting up my 75g rr on wooden stand......in my concrete basement.

How do I ensure the dt is level? I do have a small level with bubbles, level is like 9" long.
Is that enough? Do I move it around on dt floor, to make sure bubbles r in center, and shim as needed?

Pls advice, thanks.

Level on the top rim, use a flat board to support it if the level isn't long enough on its own. Fill the tank 2/3 with water, measure the distance to the top rim at each end. Put a marble in the bare empty tank and see if it rolls.

Lots of ways to find level.

Yes, you want it level front to back and side to side. Given the inherent wet conditions associated with a tank, use some composite shims vice wood ones under the stand if needed.

make sure you shim under the stand. not between tank and stand. doing the latter will cause pressure points that can crack a tank
