Night time snack?

Is it ok to turn on your moon light after lights out.and if I did and the fish woke up and appear hungry should I feed them

Well, moon lights are so named to mimic the moon. So yes, turn them on at night. You could feed them if you want but not neccessary.

You can feed up to 3 times a day, and in fact some people prefer it. However, this is dependent on your system, the type of fish you keep, and your export system.

Keep in mind that your fish will always "appear" hungry. My Vlamingi would jump in my lap and dance the Samba if she thought it would get her more Nori.

My Chocolate Lab appears hungry 24/7. He often wakes up in the middle of the night and "appears" famished. I assure you, this is not the case.

Thanks , we are reading slot about salt water and it has become a obsession.toughie have been huge help

Many LEDS on the market try to replicate the moon's spectrum so you will have corals remaining open. I usually keep them on until 4 am. Then my fish sleep. Moonlights influence feeding and spawning behavior.
