I was using a par 38 over mine. I was getting really good growth. I've since moved it due to needing additional room for a new skimmer i purchased.

I'm growing calapura and Cheato with two marineland cheapo LED fixtures. The picture below shows one but I bought a second one because I thought it could use a bit more light.

I changed from two florescent fixtures because of the energy usage. The two original fixtures used more than 3 amps, the two LED fixtures use less than 300 mA.

Not having any problem growing anything. In fact I have to pull stuff from the sump more than I have to mow the lawn.

I am using a PAR 38 over my fuge. My mangroves and Cheato grow great under it.

I'm using a combination of a DIY CREE 10 (5 RB and 5 CW) LED fixture and an 18w 6500k PC fixture.

The LEDs are primarily down there because the fuge is large enough for me to use as a small frag area.

Here are some pics, but I wasn't trying to focus on the LED for any reason (took them for other reasons) in these photos so they aren't the best:

I get great growth out of my Cheato and Red Gracellaria with this combo.
