Exclamation Algae help!!!!

I just finished cycling my tank and there seems to be little "stalks" of green hair algae everywhere!!! What should I do about this!? Is it even GHA because it is not like a "fluffy" pile of GHA its just small spots every where on the glass, gravel, and rocks. Thanks Jack
ps.... I use reverse osmosis and have a sump

typical after cycling. My tank got gha pretty bad, it will go away though. Time for some snails. I personally dont like crabs, but I know alot of people do.

A clean up crew should take care of it. My hermits take care of any algae that pops up in my tank.

Algae is pretty normal for a newly cycled tank. Snails will help. Hermits help too but IMO can cause more harm than good. Since you have a sump you may want to look into getting some macro algae, specifically chaeto, to aid in absorbing excess nutrients. Eventually you may want to look into using GFO to further reduce phosphates.
