pink patches on sand
I have some pink stuff growing on my sand, I don't have a pic right now but will post one later. I've heard it might be cyano? I know it can't be coralline because that usually grows on rocks and glass. Would anyone be of any assistance?

When you post that picture, go ahead and post your current water parameters and tank specs. Always a good idea to assist those doing the assisting. Could be cyno but really need a pic.

It's likely cyno. Increased flow often helps slow it down, but cyno pops up in most new tanks.
