Adding Ecoxotic stunner to light fixture?

Ok, I'm wondering if i can add a 12.5" stunner strip to my Aquatic life 4 bulb t5 light fixture, by direct wiring it. In other words, removing the preexisting led moon lights and directly wiring the stunner strip using the same line. The stunner runs 6 watts at 24v. Any input would by appreciated. thanks.

I have almost no electrical experience but I would bet that it wont work. I doubt the power supply for the moonlights isn't strong enough to run the stunner properly. Just a guess though. Contact ecoxotic and ask them. They have outstanding customer service.

The moons lights on the light fixture are 1 watt each x4= 4 watts total. the stunner strip has 6 watts total. I wouldn't think that two watts more would be that much extra load. I guess it's experimentation time.

I have six on my 48" fixture and I used the double sided tape provided and has stuck for over two years.
